MuseStorm AJAX Desktop Tutorial

Create an Ajax desktop just like those found on the Netvibes, Protopage, or PageFlakes sites with a little guidance from MuseStorm’s AJAX Desktop Tutorial. The nine-step tutorial takes you from detecting browsers (IE and Firefox now, Safari later) to creating widgets for RSS and search functions. All that’s required to get started is a little HTML, CSS, and JavaScript experience.

  1. Hi All Experts,
I want to use AJAX (Asynchronous JAVA script with XML ). How can i Optimize the site SEO.
as Java script and flash is not recommended by search engines. Any suggestion or help is welcomed. With Regards.

Aside from building with web standards and following the usual SEO techniques, I’d suggest both (1) creating an HTML page with a sitemap to all of your content that is otherwise hidden behind AJAX calls, and (2) creating a Google sitemap using their webmaster tools.

It’s also possible that a judicious use of tags will reveal your content to the spiders.

let’s try that again: It’s also possible that a judicious use of [noscript] tags will reveal your content to the spiders.
