beHungry: Are You Ready for IE7?
The lead story for this inaugural beHungry is the impending arrival of Internet Explorer 7. Once the darling, now among the despised, Microsoft’s Windows browser reawakened from a five year nap to a new world of Web 2.0, RSS, and Ajax—not to mention serious competition from Firefox, Safari, and even Opera. IE7 has a new interface, a bevy of new features, additional support for Web Standards, and, of course, some uniquely Microsoft ways of making more work for you. So, with the launch of Redmond’s seventh Windows browser coming in mere days, if not hours, are you ready? Is IE7 ready? Come on over to Carruthers Conference Room A and share your thoughts on IE7–and, what the heck, Firefox 2.0 as well.

Introducing beHungry
One of beTech’s primary goals is to bring the latest web technologies to the table. We’ve also seen our role as providing the table—a place, a space to meet and exchange ideas. The beTech Presentation Series has been an overwhelming success for presenters and audiences alike while the beerTech happy hours continue to provide a needed diversion after work. And still, we strive for more.
Announcing beHungry—a lunch gathering for web professionals and the web-curious. For one joyous hour, converse in the language of the web or just shoot the breeze with your colleagues from across Grounds. Let’s get busy dreaming about a better web or solving the latest CSS annoyance. beHungry is here to feed your brain.
